Description

This privacy training course (~15 mins) provides awareness about how to recognize and avoid dark patterns. Dark patterns are user interfaces that trick or manipulate users. Increasingly, there is a consumer backlash against dark patterns, and many privacy laws are starting to restrict them. In this course, Professor Daniel Solove uses an engaging comic book style and copious examples to make his advice constructive and memorable. This is a very fun course that will educate engineers, designers, and anyone involved in the creation of websites, apps, products, or services involving communication and interaction with users.  The course has 4 quiz questions.
