This course (15 mins) by Professor Daniel Solove provides an introduction to Mexico’s Federal Privacy Law. The course discusses the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties – or, in Spanish, Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP).  The course discusses the individual rights that Mexico’s Federal Privacy law provides — known as the “ARCO rights.” The course also discusses the responsibilities of organizations that process personal data.  The course has 5 quiz questions.
