EU AI Act Whiteboard
In 2024, the EU enacted the EU AI Act, a very long and detailed law that regulates artificial intelligence. The EU AI Act has a wide scope and applies to those that create, adapt, market, and use AI systems, which are defined quite broadly.
Professor Daniel Solove has created an illustrated EU AI Act whiteboard that summarizes the law in just 1 page.
The whiteboard covers the scope of the EU AI Act, the types of unacceptable-risk AI and high-risk AI, and the various obligations of providers and deployers of high-risk AI. The course also covers AI transparency requirements and the regulation of general purpose AI.
