Vermont Data Privacy Act
This whiteboard is a 1-page overview of Vermont Data Privacy Act. The full text of the Act is here. The Act is one of the few state consumer privacy laws with a private right of action. It prohibits the sale of sensitive data, and it has a longer list of sensitive data than most other state consumer privacy laws.
NOTE: The Act was vetoed by the governor, so it remains just a bill. The whiteboard was prepared before the veto, so it just shows what might have been.
